International Conference “New Uses for Old Concepts”, Roma Tre University 14-15 May 2015


Locandina roma 3 (1)Next May 14 and 15 2015 will be held at Roma Tre University the international conference New uses for old concepts. Contributions to contemporary philosophy and social sciences.

The conference, co-organized by the Department of Philosophy, Communication and Visual Arts of Roma Tre, the Centro di Ricerca Interuniversitario “Pragmatismo, Costruzione dei Saperi e Formazione” and associazione Pragma, will focus on a pragmatist rethinking key concepts of contemporary philosophy and social sciences – e.g. “experience”, “values”, “interest”, “utility”, “truth”, “creativity”, “culture”, “capital”, “theory”, “behaviour”. Each participant will be asked to analyze one of these concepts from his/her methodological and theoretical point of view.
